The season has started off with a bang for the horses and riders of Goodtyme Stables. Competition began in Florida this year at the Palm Beach Dressage Derby CDI***/CDIY held March 5-7, 2004 Loxahatchee, Florida. After contributing to Canada’s 2003 Pan Am Silver Team Medal, Evi Strasser has progressed Quantum Tyme to the Grand Prix level and were rewarded by the judges with a score of 64.333% (10th place). Student Jacqueline M. Brooks on Brinc Ltd. and Anne Welch’s Gran Gesto put in a solid performance to receive 62.125%. In the Grand Prix Freestyle, Strasser and Quantum Tyme continued to improve, cracking into the 70% level and winning third place on a score of 70.400%. This was followed by Brooks & Gran Gesto with 68.650% - 5th.
At the Zada Enterprises, LLC WEF Dressage Classic CDI***/Y (held at the picturesque Palm Beach Polo Club March 18, 21, 2004), Evi Strasser and Quantum Tyme rode to 7th (65.458%) in the Grand Prix in a field of 24 rides, and earned fourth place with 69.700% in the Grand Prix Freestyle. In the FEI Young Horses 5 Year Old Division, Strasser rode Foto Tyme 71.400% and first place honours.
At the Westchester-Fairfield Festival of Dressage CDI*** (Port Jervis, New York April 23-25, 2004) Foto Tyme continued to dominate the FEI Young Horses 5 Year Old Division with a clean sweep winning the Qualifier class on a score of 79.000% and Saturday's Championship class with 82.000% - the highest score of the show! Quantum Tyme continued to show strength in the Grand Prix division with a 6th in the Grand Prix (63.958%) and a 4th in the Grand Prix Freestyle (70.500%).
At the Ottawa Dressage Festival, an Olympic qualifier held May 22-24th, Evi Strasser and Quantum Tyme won both the Grand Prix (67.361%) and Grand Prix Freestyle (70.458%) to be crowned Grand Prix Freestyle Champions. Foto Tyme again decisively won his classes to be awarded Champion of the FEI Young Horse 5 Year Old Division.
Veronique Lavallee, who now has the ride on Pryme Tyme, came 2nd in the FEI Young Rider Individual class with 61.625%. Gillian Sutherland & Justin Tyme rode to a solid 2nd place in the Grand Prix with 66.806% and 2nd again in the Grand Prix Freestyle with 68.542%.
Congratulations go to Gillian Sutherland on her recent purchase of the flashy Oldenburg gelding Great Tyme.
Watch for DeNiro's Tyme this summer under the skilled hands of Nancy MacLachlan who will be riding this talented son of DeNiro for Goodtyme Stables.
Goodtyme Stable's licensed Oldenburg stallion Any Time will be standing at stud at the stables of Canadian long-listed rider Jaimey Irwin. Irwin may also be taking the elegant dark bay into selected shows.

Congratulations to Goodtyme Stables' students Jacqueline Brooks & Finnegan, and Gillian Sutherland and Justyn Tyme. Both were competing at the Royal Winter Fair in the Canadian League FEI World Cup Dressage Finals sponsored by Swarovski. Gillian & Justyn Tyme, based on their 2nd place finish, also qualified to compete in the inaugural "Royal Invitational" were they placed 4th.

It was an exciting Pan Am final trials in Blainville, Quebec over two weekends in July. There was very strong competition among the semi-finalists and some super rides. The Canadian Pan Am Dressage team competing in the Dominican Republic is:

Golden State Dressage Festival CDI-W
Congratulations to Rochelle Kilberg on her recent success with her Goodtyme horse West-bay at the Golden State Dressage Festival CDI-W held April 10 - 13, 2003 in Rancho Murieta, California.
The duo finished 2nd in the Intermediaire Freestyle with a score of 66.775%. They also placed 6th in the Prix St. Georges with a score of 64.000%, and 5th in the Intermediare 1 with 64.900%. West-Bay is a 12 year old Oldenburg gelding by Walldorf, out of Goldika.

Kyra Kyrkland (Finland) continues to enjoy international success with her new mount Andiamo Tyme at the Indoor Brabant Hertogenbusch - a World Cup qualifying event. The pair placed 2nd in the Grand Prix Freestyle with 69.30% behind Holland's Marlies van Baalen & Idocus (70.0%). Kyrkland then went on to finish 2nd again in the Grand Prix Freestyle with 74.64%, being narrowly edged out by Heike Kemmer (GER) and Bonaparte who scored 74.74%.

February 2003
Congratulations to Kyra Kyrkland (Finland) on her recent competitive accomplishments with the newly acquired Andiamo Tyme at the CDI-W Vilhelmsborg, Denmark including a 2nd place finish in the Intermediaire II. Many will remember Andiamo Tyme under former rider & trainer Neil Ishoy (Canada) who won the 2002 Swarovski Canadian League World Cup Final. Good Tyme Stables is proud of the continuing success of this Canadian produced international dressage horse, and best wishes to Kyra.

League World Cup Finals
Andiamo Tyme, now owned by Linda Fowler,
won the honour to represent Canada at
the 2002 World Cup in the Netherlands.
Now ridden by Neil Ishoy, the pair were
virtually unbeatable in 2001. Unfortunately,
Andiamo Tyme suffered an injury prior
to his departure for the World Cup Finals
and was unable to compete. Goodtyme
